This shiny app enables interactive exploration of the decryptE dataset.
It is organized in several tabs, giving access to different layers of information.
The first tab contains data for the drug perturbed proteomes of Jurkat cells, the second for the drug perturbed transcriptomes of Jurkat cells for a subset of seven selected inhibitors,
the third for the HDAC inhibitor perturbed proteomes of primary T-cells and the fourth tab displays microscopy images of the treated cells for all doses.
Panel 1: Dose-response curves (DRC) for protein-drug-combinations or transcript-drug-combinations can be displayed and overlayed. Different exploration modes and filtering options are available.
For detailed information see the respective tab.
Panel 2: The abundance of each selected protein/transcript in context to the abundance distribution of all proteins/transcripts in the DMSO controls is displayed and can be compared.
Panel 3: The half-life of each selected protein can be displayed and compared based on Zecha et al. (2018). For transcriptomic data the corresponding protein is visualized.
Panel 4: By clicking on a DRC of any drug protein combination, the viability data for the respective drug is displayed.
Clicking on DRCs of different drugs enables the overlaying of the selected drugs' viability information. Multiple viability metric can be chosen (metabolic activity, cytotoxicity and confluency).
Panel 5: For click-selected drugs, the respective drug's target space with potency can be displayed - where available, based on Klaeger et al. (2017), Lechner et al. (2022), Prokofeva et al. (2022).
To clear the selection click clear or double-click on any white space.
All selected protein drug combinations are displayed at the bottom of the page in interactive tabular view that can be downloaded.
